Physical Planar Traits

Gravity

Normal Gravity

Heavy Gravity

Physical checks for movement have a penalty. Weight is doubled for items, impacting encumbrance. Weapon ranges are halved. Double damage when falling in heavy armor.

Light Gravity

Physical checks for movement have a bonus. Weight is halved for items. Falling damage is lessened.

Zero Gravity

Time

Normal Time

Erratic Time

Time is gained or lost when moving between these planes and any other.

Flowing Time

The flow of time is consistently faster or slower on this plane.

Timeless

Time does not pass on these planes. However, when returning from a timeless plane to any other, conditions such as hunger and aging occur retroactively which is determined randomly. Any magic with a non instantaneous cast duration is permanent until dispelled.

Shape & Size

Finite

A plane with this trait has a defined edge or border.

Immeasurable

Planes with this trait can go on with infinite vastness.

Self-Contained

Planes with this trait have borders wrapped around themselves. So that when a traveller reaches one edge, they emerge on the opposite edge within the same plane.

Structural Traits

Persistent

Planes with this trait are like that of the Material, objects remain where they are unless affected by a magickal or physical force.

Morphic

A measure of how easy one may manipulate and change the nature of a plane. Some are responsive to thought while others to physical or magick effects.

Essence

Essences are concerned with the elements of reality and that of the spirit (positive and negative).

Mixed

The Material Plane is an example of a mixed essence plane - reality being composed of a mix of all essences.
