The cosmic law is a governing set of rules that keeps the gods from directly interfering with the martial plane(expand to inner sphere)

The law dictated that interactions with the inner spheres are limited to: • Incarnation and loss of memory until bodily death • communication with mortals only through dreams, or intuition via emissaries (daemons) • a deity can be brought manifest into the inner spheres only by powerful magic from within said sphere, and in so doing, the deity is limited to an avatar form with lower/demigod power
